Chicken Salad Chick is spreading its Southern hospitality to Fairfax with the grand opening of its second Northern Virginia restaurant on November 20. Located in The Greenbriar Town Center on Route 50, this fast-casual chicken salad spot is known for its fresh ingredients and warm, inviting atmosphere.
The first 100 guests at the 10:30 a.m. opening will receive free chicken salad for a year. Throughout the grand opening week, the restaurant will host giveaways, including custom Chick merchandise like tumblers, tote bags, and picnic blankets.
Fairfax franchise owner Devon Chamberlin, who debuted her first location in Falls Church just three months ago, is thrilled to bring the brand closer to her hometown roots. “I fell in love with Chicken Salad Chick during my time in Florida, and I knew it would resonate with families here in Northern Virginia,” Chamberlin shared.
More Growth on the Horizon
This expansion into Fairfax is part of Chamberlin’s broader plans for Northern Virginia. With development rights secured for Loudoun, Arlington, and Fairfax counties, her franchise group aims to open four additional locations in the next two years. Expect to see Chicken Salad Chick pop up in communities like Leesburg, Ashburn, and Sterling soon.
Chicken Salad Chick’s menu features a dozen chicken salad flavors, along with soups, sides, sandwiches, and desserts. The Fairfax location offers dine-in, takeout, patio seating, delivery, and catering options.
Community Focus
In keeping with the brand’s mission to “Spread Joy, Enrich Lives, and Serve Others,” the Fairfax team will raise funds for The Lamb Center during its pre-opening events. This local nonprofit provides essential services for individuals experiencing homelessness.
