The City of Fairfax Police Department is looking into an early morning incident involving the reckless discharge of a firearm. The incident occurred around 4:10 a.m. on December 6 in the 9900 Block of Fairfax Square.
Officers from the Patrol Operations Division, along with detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division, responded to the scene, where they recovered casings and projectiles. Authorities are continuing to investigate and are asking the community for assistance.
