Fairfax City knows how to party until the vampires go home. Here are some activities for Halloween celebrants citywide. Costumes are encouraged!
Witch Watch and Rock the Block!, Oct. 27
This year, George Mason University Student Senate is hosting a Witch Watch event from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Oct. 27, during Rock the Block! in Old Town Square (6:30-9:30 p.m.). Various Mason student organizations will host various activities at the event. Halloween costumes are encouraged!
Trick or Treat Trail, Oct. 30
Celebrate Halloween with the City P.O.L.I.C.E. along the Trick or Treat Trail from 5-7 p.m. Oct. 30 at Historic Blenheim, 3610 Blenheim Blvd. Please stay in your vehicle, and officers will distribute treats to you. This event is for Fairfax City residents ages 12 and younger (and the child must be present to receive the goodies). Costumes are encouraged!
Trick or Treat, Oct. 31
Fairfax City welcomes boos and ghouls to trick-or-treat at Fairfax City government facilities:
- Green Acres front desk, 4401 Sideburn Road., 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Sherwood Center front desk, 3740 Blenheim Blvd., 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m
- Fairfax City Hall department offices, 10455 Armstrong St., 1-4 p.m.
