City of Fairfax Police are investigating a firearm incident that took place in the early hours of December 29, 2024. Officers responded to reports of gunfire at around 1:30 a.m. in the 9900 block of Fairfax Square.
Upon arrival, officers from the Patrol Operations Division, along with detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division, recovered multiple shell casings on the exterior grounds of the property. While the gunfire caused no reported injuries or damage, police are working to determine who was involved.
