Fairfax Stabbing Suspect Arrested, Held Without Bond

City of Fairfax, VA – Late on August 7, 2024, City of Fairfax Police responded to an emergency call at 10810 Fairchester Drive, a 7-Eleven, after reports of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers found a victim suffering from a stab wound to the stomach. The incident stemmed from an argument between the victim and an acquaintance. The victim was quickly transported to Fairfax Hospital, where they received treatment for their injuries.

The City of Fairfax Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division took on the case, working to identify the suspect involved. Their investigation led to the identification of Orvin Lemus Nunez, 22, who has no fixed address. A warrant for Aggravated Malicious Wounding was obtained under Virginia Code 18.2-51.2.

On August 11, 2024, officers located and arrested Lemus Nunez. He was subsequently transported to the Fairfax Adult Detention Center, where he is being held without bond.
