On December 24, 2023, at 4:38 PM, The City of Fairfax Police responded to a stabbing incident at the Lee High Inn, located at 9865 Fairfax Boulevard. The investigation revealed that the victim had been stabbed in the neck by an acquaintance following an argument. The victim was transported to Fairfax Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Criminal Investigations Division conducted a thorough investigation, identifying the suspect and obtaining a warrant for Aggravated Malicious Wounding (18.2-51.2). On July 9, 2024, with the assistance of the Fairfax County Sheriff’s Office, Jerome Carpenter, 37, of Alexandria, was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. Carpenter is currently being held without bond.
