October 10, 2023 • 9:35 a.m.

Officers responded for the report of a larceny. The reporting party stated that an unknown male entered the store, took multiple consumable items, and left the business without rendering payment. Officers located the suspect nearby and recovered the items. The business declined to prosecute. There is no further information at this time. (2023-17120)


Warrant Service

Blenheim Blvd./ Fairfax Blvd

October 10, 2023 • 12:28 p.m.

Officers responded to the area of Blenheim Blvd. and Fairfax Blvd. for a FLOCK alert for a stolen license plate on a vehicle. Officers located the vehicle and detained the driver. Further investigation revealed that the driver was wanted out of Fairfax County. Bruce Foltz, 59, of Vienna was taken into custody and transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was served his warrants from Fairfax County for petit larceny and violation of probation. Foltz was also charged with driving while DUI revoked. Foltz was held without bond. DUI Arrest

Fair Woods Parkway/ Mosby Woods Dr. 

October 11, 2023 • 11:24 p.m.

Officers responded for the report of a suspicious vehicle. Officers located a male subject sleeping in the driver’s seat of a running vehicle. Officers determined that the driver was under the influence of narcotics. Ahmed Assaad, 30, of Fairfax was taken into custody and transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Drugs. Assaad was held until he was deemed sober.  (2023-17226)

Officers responded for the report of a larceny. The reporting party stated that persons unknown stole an item from their package that was left in the mail room of the complex. The Patrol Operations Division is investigating. (2023-17264)

M&T Bank, 9720 Fairfax Blvd.

October 14, 2023 • 12:12 p.m.

Officers responded for the report of a larceny. The reporting party stated that persons unknown had gained access to their checking account and made multiple fraudulent withdrawals. The Criminal Investigations Division is investigating. (2023-17374)
